We are a small family run company in Denmark.

Who are we

PK Horses is run by Iben Printzen-Kiertzner Hansen and Tue Hansen. Ibens interest for horses goes back to her childhood, where she, as many other girls, rode her own horse. The interest in horses has followed her throughout her life, and when we got the opportunity to get a country house with space for horses, that dream had to be lived out, of course.

Along with her interest in horses, Iben has an innovative and creative side that has created many fun and exciting solutions over the years.

PK Horses

It all started with an idea for a soft hay hedge. The inspiration came from one that was solid, but it took up a lot of space in the stall and was difficult to work around.
Over a couple of years, the idea of a soft hay rack was refined and we found a number of local stables where they wanted to test it out. After a few versions, we hit on one that met the various requirements and STRAW Corner was born.
The decision to start PK Horses was not difficult, and it happened on February 10, 2023.

Subsequently, a STRAW Corner-Release version has been released. STRAW Corner is designed to be strong and last, even if the horse is curious and handled it rough. The result was a product that is not easily giving in, even if the horse is trying to get into the STRAW Corner. STRAW Corner Release is designed to open without breaking, and leaving the horse unharmed.

Product development

The are many ideas, and with STRAW Play-bag and STRAW Bag, two new products has been added to the collection.

We continuously work on adding new products, so keep coming back. Experience shows that all products must go through extensive development and test phases, where nothing can be skipped. This means that there can be a long way from idea to finished product.
